Britain’s First Solar Town? Episode four

Wadebridge in Cornwall has gone from being a regular town in the South West of England to one of the most unique of its kind in the country – in just one year. With ambitions of generating a third of their power with local renewable energy by 2015, they have challenged Government policy, installed solar across the town from homes to schools to farm fields, and opened the UK’s first ‘Energy Shop’ on their high street. Oh, and are funding the shop and other community projects using income from their solar power!
Will your town join the solar revolution and be the next Wadebridge?
