Saving the Planet’s Biodiversity

The Millennium Seed Bank’s Head of Technology and Training, Robin Probert explains the way seeds are collected, stored, dried, cleaned and even x-rayed. Once stored, some will be taken out and grown to check the collection is still viable and this process will reveal a wealth of important information to be shared with our partners around the world. The Millennium Seed Bank project works with over a hundred partners in 54 countries around the world helping protect the planet’s biodiversity.
