New Yann Arthus-Bertrand film premieres at Rio+20 Earth Summit

Royalty and celebrities turn out for the premiere of “Planet Ocean”, the latest film from French director Yann Arthus-Betrand, in Rio de Janeiro, where heads of state are gathering for the climax of the Earth Summit. The filmmaker says he wants to change the way people look at the world’s oceans.

Oceansinc@Rio is dedicated to broadcasting news about the ocean at the Rio+20 Sustainable Development Summit.  It will closely follow the discussions, negotiations and events related to the ocean from the commencement of the dialogues on June 16th to the completion of the summit on June 22nd.
